Pupils from St. Augustine’s took a visit to St Peter’s Primary school to help out with the recently established Orchestra. Both sets of pupils had a great time and really benefitted form the experience.

The St. Augustine’s pupils led sectional rehearsals, helped out with the tuning of instruments and enjoyed helping the younger pupils with the music. The St. Peter’s pupils really enjoyed playing with the more experienced musicians saying “It made such a difference, it really helped us follow the music, and they were all so friendly and amazing players!”.

Mr Barron said “ We are trying to encourage all the younger players, one way is to get them to listen to and play along with the older players. Everyone seemed to have a great time and we shall be doing this more often!”.
