We are collecting crisp packets in school to support a local initiative to turn them into survival blankets for the homeless. They need to be the packets with a foil lining. There are collecting boxes outside the Science prep room.

Each blanket requires about 150 foil lined crisp packets, which will be washed, cut flat and turned into foil blankets. With each crisp packet taking 80 years to decompose, this repurposing is a great way to help the environment and the most vulnerable in our society.
