SCHOOL ADMIN ASSISTANT
30 hours per week – Term Time + Training Days
Grade D  SCP 4-6 £18426 – £19171 per annum (pro rata – 39 working weeks) Actual Salary =£12947

St Augustine’s School are seeking to appoint an outstanding, conscientious and well organised Administrative Assistant to work in a busy school office as part of a team. 


The position involves the day to day management of the school administration.

The duties will include maintaining accurate pupil records, processing orders for goods and services, operating online payments system, photocopying, filing, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, recording and distributing deliveries, telephone enquiries with parents and suppliers, assisting pupils with medical needs and support to the Admin team.

This position offers the opportunity to work as a cohesive part of an effective administrative team.  The successful applicant will be required to work Monday – Friday, term time plus training days.

The ideal candidate would have

  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Previous experience of  MIS systems
  • Office administration experience, outstanding communication, organisation and  interpersonal skills,
  • The ability to work on own initiative to meet the demanding requirements of the role and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good standard of education including Maths and English.
