Students in Year 10 recently visited Stepney Hill Farm as part of their GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition course.

The students were given a guided tour of the farm visiting the barn to see the piglets and calves and walking through the fields to see the sheep.

Students also visited the butchers shop and learnt about how meat is cut up.

Will said: “the sausage sandwich was delicious!”

Reuben said: “the staff were really friendly and it was fun to be out of school.”
