A mix of Year 8 and 9 students ventured out to the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough for the Championship game between Middlesbrough and Preston North End.
With a quick stop at Macdonald’s on the way we arrive at the ground with plenty of time to spare. A good look round the club shop and a few big hand purchases later and it was time to go into the stadium.
The boys spent pre-game pitch side taking a close look at the warm up. Massive ‘Boro’ fan Alex Millington was confident that the lads looked up for it and was assured of a big win. After a promising start Middlesbrough eventually went down 2-1. Much to the disappointment of the home crowd and some of the students.
The game was thoroughly enjoyed by boys and their behaviour on the trip was exemplary receiving positive comments from all adults they came into contact with.
