Several St. Augustine’s students tasted cricketing success with Scarborough U15s this weekend, as they lifted the Derwent Valley Cup.

Jonathan ‘Joffy’ Crick, brothers Tom and Billy Kelly, and George Bond helped Scarborough CC to a 5 wicket victory against Whitby CC, with Billy Kelly scoring the winning runs from a boundary, and Crick finishing with an unbeaten 32 from 23 balls.

Crick and George Bond also cleaned up at the club’s presentation evening, winning two awards apiece, including Player of the Year for Crick, and Best Fielder and Most Improved Player for Bond.

We’re very proud of all the boys’ achievements. Well done!
